  1. patent pending says:

If you reside in the usa, then osha rules applies. Employer must give employee a break time after working for 2 hours, then a lunch time after working another two hours, then another break time after working for another two hours. Then if you work overtime you get breaks after two hours of work.
If they do not give you breaks or lunch, they would be fined by osha with a steep fine, and they will keep coming to check if the company is in compliance. Believe me, they would rather give you a break rather than pay the fine. Contact the next higher level member of management first and ask for an open door policy and then tell them what is going on before you resort to calling OSHA. There are labor laws against forcing people to work overtime. The company cannot just change your schedule as they please unless when you applied for your current job, you put down on your application form that your time availability is open. To remedy this, contact your personnel manager and ask that your time availability be change.
