How do i get overtime money after i get fire in arizona?
I was fired from my job a couple of months and i just remember in my last paycheck didn’t get paid for my overtime i have done while working there. I know for a fact that the employer adjust your hours if you go over 40 hours a week. is that legal?how i can i receive my overtime money? what action can i take?
Is it legal to offer voluntary program in lieu of overtime pay?
I have been trying to find this on the DOL website for a while with no luck.
Could a company offer a voluntary program to their employees where for each hour of overtime worked in a pay period the employee could opt to have it put in as paid time off (ie extra vacation and sick days), in lieu of paying the overtime?
I understand that to force an employee to do this would violate the law, however as part of a voluntary program, would it be considered acceptable?

I have worked over 65hrs of overtime within the first three weeks of the current month. Contract only states that I must work min of 40 hrs and amount to be paid for each week of work. I just got my paycheck it says I worked 90.42 for two weeks….I figured I’d get 10.42 overtime…but I only got .42 overtime…I asked payroll and they said the 10 hours aren’t overtime….where can I find the labor laws for California???
